Ive had a Case 580K, Ive used a JD backhoe tractor, Ive rented those track Cats on occasion ... but my dream would be to have one of those small simple Kabota's backhoe's (an all around perfect machine for many tasks that can be parked in a tiny garage or towed with car if need be). The problem is the price of these lil'' toys  well, as MLK says... "I have a Dream"

I just finished installing a winch for the chute rotation on my 3 point hitch snow blower. Works pretty good!

If I had an 8N it would have a flat head 8 with zoomies.
Utterly useless but fun.

Zoomies are four individual pipes on each side pointing up at about a 80 deg angle.

Open headers like a top fuel car.

How's that? is this a tractor or is it a overgrown lawn mower? 25 hp. diesel, 4x4, hydraulic everything, cruise control, tilt wheel. bla, bla, bla,
Wife uses it for lawn and snow

that's it an 8 or 9 n with a flat head 8. I'd have run it with open headers to set the corn on fire

I warned you young whippersnappers not to abandon TVO as a fuel. But no, you had to play with that new fangled gasoline and look what happened. Now you stupid younguns are adding drinking alcohol to the gas tank, my daddy would turn in his grave if he knew. Still runs like it came out of the factory but I am damned if I can find where the scanner plugs in.

15 years ago I had a Kubota 22 HP TLB. I took it out to try to clear some ditches and fell in, but boy did it look purty. In disgust I traded it dollar for dollar for a Cat 955H and this digging monster and I never looked back. Look at the IH 1068 for scale. I do miss the Kubota though, that backhoe was the purfect size for cleaning snot out of my nose. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I slay myself.

.. and I would be using it daily except for that hand crank. Hand crank it in gear and it will run you over and kill you, it's HEAVY. Make sure that when you hand crank it on gas your thumb is in the backward position, it has a kick like a mule. Too scary for daily use and that is what makes it second best Ford tractor of all time to the 8N..
