I recently discovered that my SWG power venter was shutting off and causing the stove to shut off. After checking the blower I found the motor housing was burning hot. I ordered a new motor and when I took the old one off today I discovered that the inner fin fan that must be for cooling the fan motor had oxidized in the center and came out of air intake in three pieces. This blower is only going into its 4th season. Though I did not use the SWG super lube I did use another synthetic lubricant that I already had. In any case I don't think this could have been the cause of the inner fan disintegrating and breaking up. Has anyone else had this problem?

That little cooling fan blade is aluminum unfortunately. I think you can get replacement cooling fan blades seperate from the motor. I think others have sprayed thefan blade with lube to help keep the corrosion at bay for a few years.
