Not that I am an advocate of wood or anything, but the towns are collecting tree debris if it is left by the curbside and all over these storm hit towns there are nice little neat piles of hardwood already cut up by the curb for the taking. I have to say it really boggles my mind when the stuff is selling for over $200/cord and on a BTU basis a cord of wood is the equivalent of $675 @ $4.25/gal for the evil red stuff. My local bagged supplier is now at $310/ton + delivery....needless to say I am collecting the free stuff every day
. Free wood + inflation still = free.
