NOW it looks much more like the old site!! Thanks for the Icon glossary/tutorial. These are now basicly the same as before. I LIKE IT !!

The contrast with the colors is much better, it still can get washed out from strong light on my screen, but that is an issue with my old laptop.

Thenks !!

How's these a little better? :D

I don't have time to give a complete run down but I'll de customizing the FAQ, one thing will be a icon legend. There's about 20 of them for icons to the left of posts  It's not that hard to follow. Basically if it's blue it means there is a new post:

Image = Unread, or new posts

If it's read there is no blue:

Image = Read, no new posts

If it has a red star it means you posted in the thread:

Image = Unread Thread you posted in

There's others you might see, for example:

Image = Sticky topic, unread message, locked and you posted in it. :P

Whatever the case the main two things to look for are if it's blue which indicates a new post or if it has red star which means you posted in it.

I kinda liked the coal icons instead. Black Coal Icon = unread message and the Gray Coal Icon = read

Kinda gave it a nice flavor to your web site.

Also at the main http://nepacrossroads.com/ site it only displays the persons name and when they post a reply inside a thread. It doesn't show the "topic" but only their name. No biggy but was nice seeing the top most topic displayed when viewing all the threads.

I'll be making custom icons and other things when time permits. The title for the topic of the last Post on the front page was a custom modification I'll be adding too. The icon next to the name will take you to the post but there's no title.

Can you put a copy of VIEW NEW POSTS in the top Nav. Bar where you logout, UCP, etc...?

You have to go back to the main index to get new posts listings. I always click there first and check all the new ones, but once drilled down into the message, the View new Post button goes away....until you go back??

Some post I may not want to read. These should be marked as being read once I leave that threads topic and come back later. The old program did this and was nice.

No I'm forced to click on a topic in order to say that I read it.

Rex,

You don't have to do that, after you read the one's you want, Click "Board Index" look to the right and click "Mark Forms Read"

The way the old one worked if you logged off too soon or accidentally, you lost the ones marked unread.

You also use the "mark topics read" within a forum to just mark those instead of the entire forum.
