Up at 4am just to prove to myself the coal fire was still going in the beasement - it was and I resisted not playing with it. On to the wood stove which I had to gather my starter stuff, my torch just in case, 20-30 matches and some wood - 20 minutes later after getting the fire going I went back to bed.
My wife is carving the turkey, my inlaws are drinking my booze and I'm making a post. I'm not addicted..........OK maybe I am!!!!!!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone
I wonder if the oil burners have their own forum like this where they are admitting or not admitting their addiction ?
"oh I bought 300 gallons from Joe Oil and its burning great this year - much better than last year"
"I switched my BrandA oil burner to BrandB and I'm now getting 24 hour burn times with just one match!"
Yes...I go on ebay and cl to search for things with the word 'coal' in it. I must admit I'm a little stumped when I find doll house miniature coal scuttles - where I remind myself no I really cant use it and no I cant give it to my daughters to play with.
Well OK I guess a nice painting. You would think that the artist would have remembered to paint the eyebrows for Gods sake. The lady is really ugly, depressing color palette - I pass.
Doesn't everyone carry a piece of coal around in their pocket? Keeps me close to the burn when I'm not home! Wife thinks I've lost it. I keep reminding her to bury me with my stove...and the left over coal!
My stove burns rice coal but I found a lump of ant coal about the size of your fist with a flat spot on one side. I put it on top of the stove so I could look at glisten and shimmer in the dining room light while the rice coal is burning inside the stove.
I am not sure of the diagnosis of this but it does sound a bit sad to admit it.
