There are at least 2 places to get coal right in Pittston, and even more drivers that will go to those coal places and pick up and deliver it for you. Look up Hudson coal, you can call and they will give a drivers number. Also there is Casey Kassa down that way too.

YOU HAVE A COUPLE OF DEALERS IN SCRANTON AREA

the first i would call is Casey-Kassa Coal Company (570) 824-0901 1 Market St, Laflin, PA 18702 i been burning there coal for about 6 years now with great results this years coal is burning great from casey very little ash and a very white ash at that

the other one is Agel Coal Company 611 W Locust Street Scranton, PA 18504-3598 (570) 344-8561 did burn there coal for many years and had problems for many year IRC there coal is from Hudson coal to to many clinkers and just not the btu vs the amount of coal i was using,

do you have a coal bin to store your coal in ?? getting a ton at a time is more pricey than getting a couple of tons at once

if your looking for bag coal you can get Blaschak at Shamrock Custom Cycles 50 North Scott Street, Carbondale, PA 18407-1834 (570) 282-1666 ‎

hope this helps

I will have to try Casey-kassa. I tryed agel but they would only sell half a ton and i would have to haul it myself. I will probley buy 2 ton if i can get it but i would at least need a ton. The house does have a rather large coal bin

I would try Jeddo coal. I was there today and the local delivery guys were pulling in and out like crazy. They are in Hazleton but not all that far from you :)

The gentleman in the office at Casey Kasa said it is coming from the Archbald/Carbondale area. Burning about a week and a half now and am satisfied with it so far.

I live in Gouldsboro PA about 2 miles from Interstate 380 and am having a problem finding a coal dealer to deliver to my area. Casey Kassa doesn't go to my area and Mengle said they are not taking any new customers in Gouldsboro. I just built a bin down the basement and don't want to go back to bagged coal. Economy said they would deliver but the breaker is down, I should check back in about two weeks. I haven't tried Hudson yet but I read where a few people did not like their coal. Anyone have any ideas on who delivers to the Gouldsboro area. Thanks Pete.

I live there also, PM for a list of phone numbers and drivers. I have had Agel, Streit, Knorr, Whittenbrader all deliver up here.

Try Chervy coal from Plymouth, PA. The coal burns great, low ash, 779-3727.
