My wife just bought me a big screen TV that I have been wanting for a while now. So now I REALLY need to get her something good for Christmas. We live in a log home and she has always wanted an old wood fired cook stove to convert to gas and use it as the primary cook stove since it would go so well with the whole log home thing.
Anyhoo, I have been looking for one for her for a while now. If you guys that live in Pa. would keep a lookout for a nice one for me in the local classified papers, I would really appreciate it. I am willing to make the drive to pick it up. The pic is just an example of what I am looking for.

I saw 2 or 3 in the Pittsburgh Craigs list about a month or so ago. They may still be for sale.

Get one that is coal fired... 8-)

Actually they make coalfired one's just like those, you might want to try http://www.thepapershop.com . My guess is they probably have a lot of those listed every week, not sure how well the online addition stacks up against the printed edition.

I have seen those. They are roughly $5,000 !!! Besides, I ran that by her already and she said she would rather have an old one and convert it to gas. thanks for the link though.

I saw another one in the Pittsburgh Craigslist today. I did a search for coal and it came up.
