a friend of mine just installed a coal stove, now he needs coal , does not want to make the run to the breakers ??? looking for a local source that delivers, nut coal, thanks Tommy

I believe they carry Superior Coal, and a few other types.

If your friend is at all on the south side of Lancaster, there are two good choice:

1) Ben Reese (Quarryville): 717 786-9730
2) Hillside Acres Stove Outlet (Hitzer and DS Machine), sell bagged Blaschak only: 717 806-0188

I've done business with all three of these over the years, and all good to work with.

Also, there is a Mellinger's coal yard in Willow Street: 717 464-3822
(I know of this only because "Buck" posted it last year.)

Here a guy that deliver from a breaker, his price are better then anyone from Lancaster
