Still searching for generator solutions LL Pocono/AnthraKing

I read here that sine wave back up generators may not be good. I know from recent experience and everything I read here that the coaltrols do not like dirty power and I had to shut my LL stoves off during the last power out. So here is another idea with a single rail power supply. Can I use my Troy built 7 KW generator and use the PowerSource 1500 to clean up the power by plugging the stove into it. Does it work that way? As I don't actually know what a single rail system is.......

Most likely your troybilt genset will function just fine with the coal-trol. That genset is of the alternator type which seem to behave better with the coal trol than inverter type generators from what I have seen. I know Matthaus tested out several different gensets and by and large the alternator type worked with the coal trol provided they are in good repair and have a fairly stable voltage output. I have ran a coal trol on a similar genset without issue.

With my AnthraKing the squirrel cage fan was having a fit I thought I had killed it. That 's why the search continues as power was out for four days. It could have been much worse and I know I was lucky. I will leave it connected and next time the power dies I will report.

Motors love a pure sine wave. I have a APC SMARTUPS which constantly conditions my supply to the Keystoker. There are times the light that indicates sine wave disturbances lights indicating the UPS is conditioning the output. Also there are power conditioners that are meant to do the same thing. That was my first plan before I got my UPS to help when running off a generator. Yes I have one of those too I only use one at a time it is not necassary to use both devices. I am a technical person and cannot help myself with details. I even used an Oscilloscope to verify the sine wave from the power conditioner, with the generator.
