The server took what is apparently it's annual 12 hour vacation as this seems to happen once a year, see you next year same bat time same bat channel.

I knew it was bad when I got this error while trying to get to NEPA....

A drive failed, *censored* happens. Seems a bit slow now but the server is in a RAID array and they need to rebuild the replacement disk.

That's nothing, I couldn't connect with putty over SSH and my first though was the Russians did get in . :)

It was only out last night, coincidentally around this time it crashed, it was up again late morning until about 2 or 3 PM.
