I was listening to the Coal Cast audio shows posted on this site and I heard there is a manometer loaner program? I would be interested in trying a manometer on my newly installed Clayton 1537G if the loaner program still exists. Um, does anyone have any more information about the program? I did a search and saw that the loaner program thread is locked. Thanks in advance for any replies

Buy your own for $25, even I know vacuum is not a one time measurement. I check mine every morning.

The loaner program was ruined by a couple bad apples. I don't know who they were but those involved know who they are. Hell I'm not going to sugar coat it. The program was ruined by a couple of common freaking thieves. Shame on them.

It was a shame the people screwed the loaner program for others...
Just do a Google search for Dwyer Mark II Model 25, they range from about $25-35.

Dwyer-direct has them for 42.50 (34 + 8.50 shipping) by the time they come to your door UPS, at least that was the last one I bought about 2 months ago. I also bought a spare on ebay two weeks ago, 32 including shipping.

OK, as a newbie I will give you an insight into the high tech world of coalnewbie.
Throw coal in big hole, take burnt stuff out of smaller bottom hole, look at length of little red line (Dwyer), go outside dump ashes, whack powervent with hand and ashes spill out. It's all very involved but you will get the hang of it eventually.
