Thanks for the info wsherrick, He said to me "I was thinking about putting this old potbelly woodstove I have in the house." He just started burning coal last year in an Alaska stoker so he really wasn't familiar with coal stoves. It is a nice stove with all the oranamental stuff still on it. Needs a grate and a leg repaired. I about pooped my pants when I saw his "old potbelly woodstove".
Here is an Andes Oak currently at Barnstable. This looks like the big 20 inch fire pot monster. This is a prodigious heating appliance. I don't think the big ones like this are that common. It must have been missing its finial since there is a Glenwood finial on it.
