Phillips Clark Stove from Geneva, N.Y.? It appears to be an "Oak Andes" model. Thanks for any replies.

If it is an Oak Andes then it is the top of the line direct draft oak stove that Phillips & Clark made. Some of them were double heaters.

No pictures Fred. It is in a friends barn. buried in the dark corner, with no lights. Thanks for the info wsherrick, He said to me "I was thinking about putting this old potbelly woodstove I have in the house." He just started burning coal last year in an Alaska stoker so he really wasn't familiar with coal stoves. It is a nice stove with all the oranamental stuff still on it. Needs a grate and a leg repaired. I about pooped my pants when I saw his "old potbelly woodstove".

Ahhhh, the old in the barn, hid in a corner story. ;) Any chance of you making it a project or is your buddy going to hold onto it?

LOL... Nah... Not this one Chester. The stove is bigger than my girlfriend this time! Yes Fred, he wants to make it a project for himself unfortunately.

Here is an Andes Oak currently at Barnstable. This looks like the big 20 inch fire pot monster. This is a prodigious heating appliance. I don't think the big ones like this are that common. It must have been missing its finial since there is a Glenwood finial on it.

My guess is yours is a 616. That would be the 16" firepot model of the Andes Oak direct draft heater that William posted that catalogue on.
