If they are right we enter into a new age. If they are wrong they will look incredibly stupid - will anybody in MA notice and did anything change?

Let the big brains at MIT chew on it for a while. No doubt they will able to separate the wheat from the chaff. If this pans out the World's economies could take a huge hit if oil would become obsolete at a very rapid pace. This would need a very slow phase in period so the apple cart doesn't get tipped over.

Can you imagine every home having its own "power plant"? Clean free energy for everyone? Even if it pans out I still like heating with wood and coal!

coalnewbie, get the hell out of Mass. they've got enough problems OD, forget about what you like if this comes to pass.

If it works they still will raise the price of electricity.
