new install few questions ???

im new here just recently bought a 1992 520 df the coal stoker has never seen coal, the peoble who owned it only used oil, the domestic coil leaked as i have learned is common, the guy who removed it
had a plate welded on the whole back and eliminated the domestic coil all together, thats fine with me ,im installing in my garage 10,000 sq feet with in floor heat, when i got it home i removed the jacket and the
base was rusty thin on the back so I fabed a complete new base up out of stainless it will last forever. thats the history, now heres my questions. My coal bin is 16feet X 8 X 6 high i wanted to get about 15 tons in
i know with this large bin ill never get it to flow to auger completely, and ill be doing some shoveling,(i may taper sides a little) but the auger is comeing in the 8 wide side how long max would you exstend, dont want to
have problems. secondly i have read the recomendation to build a tunnel over the auger in case of problems how much clearance around auger tube do you recomend,
