Poor Joe Arpaio, one of very few people taking a stand against the coddling of prisoners & the waste of taxpayers money on them, is once again under fire for having a set of gonads. Bunch of cry-baby sissy ass libbers ganging up on him for a change.

The way it sounds this investigation has been going on for over three years so maybe there is more to it. My personal belief is that if you commit a crime against society then you just forfeited most of your rights. If they wouldn't make the prisons so nice these people might think twice before acting the fool again (as most don't that have been in his jail), a lot of these people become more comfortable in jail than in society. They have a structured life for the first time & everything is given to them, three hots & a cot is a lot more than many have ever had.
Edited, got my do's & don'ts crossed up. Most of the guy's that have been in Joe's jail (from what I have heard & read) don't return to a life of crime & some even keep in contact with Joe.

The bleedin heart libbers always find "MORE TO IT" people ought to start lookin into where most of them come from & where they've been & what they've done---probably nowhere & nothing--just college & then moved thier dumb ass's behind some desk in some fancy office bldg without a clue of what the real world is about.

AZ was the best place I ever lived. That's where I first learned of Joe Arpaio after seeing a news cast with him standing in front of several prisoners dressed in pink pajamas! :lol:

I used to see the chain gangs out there dressed in pink picking up trash along I-17. It was at that point that I realized how screwed up MA is. We just give them big screen TV's up here - probably jacuzzi's too. :roll:

Then when they get out they get free phones, free cars, free food & free housing - all on the taxpayers dime.

Where would you rather live? :lol:

Solzhenitsyn in his book"The Gulag Archipelago" commented that the criminals were always treated better than the political prisoners. It's part of the left wing belief that crime and criminals are society's fault. Criminals are really not to blame.

Why is everything always the lefts fault? Why not provide some proof? Why didn't the last Pres. change all the left wing wrongs with the country instead of apparently making everything so much better(seeing as how the right wants to return).
Instead why not try & work together in a effort on both sides to get the A-holes on both sides out of there? As long as everyone accepts that one side or the other is to blame instead of both then we as a country are going to deserve everything we get or don't get.

Sam my friend, not wanting to get into a pissin match, but you're right, this has been going on since the guy turned his jail into a jail. You look it up, pro' & con's. I'm sure you will see which way the accusers lean. ACLU got into it right off & God knows that they are all a bunch of conservatives always looking out for what is best for this Country as a whole.

Don't drag the whole political quagmire ( yes, from all sides) into this, look at it as the individual case at hand & I'm sure you will see who is trying to bust this guys, and all he stands for, gonads & unless I'm blind, you might see a little bleedin heart liberalism at the forefront. Yes, I'm talking about THIS ONE case--I try & stay real removed from all the other poli-stuff you guys go on & on & on & on with.personally I refer to all that as mental masturbation on all sides. Just one old farmers thoughts.

Don't forget that MA is run by lefties. That's why everyone gets a handout at our expense, while our roads & bridges crumble. It's also why everything costs a fortune, and taxes are so high. And also why you have to spend $800+ on useless parts for a '96 + vehicle to make a stupid light go out on the dash, all just to keep the treehuggers happy. :mad:

I don't know what Joe did or didn't do. I know what his reputation is, and I don't disagree with it.

The Department of Homeland Security is cutting ties with an Arizona sheriff accused of a wide range of civil right violations.

Secretary Janet Napolitano said Thursday the department is ending an agreement with the Maricopa County sheriff's office that allowed trained deputies to enforce immigration laws.

It's also restricting the office's use of the Secure Communities program, which uses fingerprints collected in local jails to identify illegal immigrants.

Napolitano's announcement came shortly after the Justice Department released a scathing report accusing Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his office of committing a wide range of civil rights violations against Latinos.

Justice Department investigators said the abuses included a pattern of racial profiling.

Does Homeland Security want to secure the homeland or not? Or do they want to put the entire country in jeopardy over one guy?

No Dann, Bush just happened to be the last president, it goes a lot farther back that that but it would be kind of redundant to do so. But if you do want to play that game I only know of one Pres. that actually gave amnesty to illegals. Your response was exactly what I was talking about.

From what I have been able to find on it the problem seems to be more abuse of power & office than anything else & it goes back four or five years. Myself I saw nothing wrong with inmates in tents or used in road gangs, I think it went way beyond that. Say what you want, this is just the beginning, more to come.
