It was a video someone posted of this weather scientist predicting that either 2014 and/or 15, if I recall, we're to be extremely cold winters. He had charts and graphs to explain his prediction and what made the weather happen that way historically. It was posted at least two years ago. Anybody remember this post?

The forecast was from Joe Bastardi and I believe I put it up there. I subscribe to his weather site. They are the tops when it comes to forecasting.
Here is the forecast for next week. There is to be two big shots of Arctic cold. The next one is going to be even colder than the one we have now.

They are calling it the "Arctic Vortex" ... never heard that term/phrase before ... WFT, these people just make up stuff? Sounds like a SyFi movie in the making !

Vortexageddon ! (hell yea I'd watch it)--I watch all those bad (except for Sharknado ~ an instant classic) SiFi movies just to see the old actors .... Like Jordi Laforge etc...

Indeed it was you William, thank you! I found your original post from September, 2010 (What lies ahead/Forecast from the only Weatherman I trust.) by searching with the weatherman's name, Joe Bastardi. The link to the video is no longer current but the video's description sums up what I recalled Joe Bastardi saying: ...8<...future-shock-brutal-winters-ahead-from-2013-on.asp?channel=vbbastaj
Looks like he nailed at least 2013-2014!

Nope! :D Not this time. I left the water RUNNING, not dripping, in all faucets last night.

I gotta go check our church's Fellowship Hall this morning.
It's pipes froze twice this year.
