Naw Smitty,

It will not cloud up until you remove the shingles. Then it will rapidly cloud up and rain within 10 minutes after the last shingle hits the dumpster......

But if it starts raining early enough, you won't be typing tomorrow night......... :shots: :wine:

Heating season has officially begun here in Sussex County, NJ. EFM is at 3 teeth on the feed and 170 on the low limit. Draft inducer is off unless it warms up outside.

I see the predictions are for above average snowfall this winter.

I shut the coal boiler down last week for cleaning. Used the oil boiler for a couple of days, primarily for heating domestic hot water. Using the coal boiler again, just in time for the cooler nights. Haven't had the first frost here yet.

Fired up the Koker yesterday morning. Just in time too...supposed to get our first frost tonight/tomorrow morning. I only have 3.5 ton on hand. Going to get another 3 or 4 ton late this month or early in November.

That pic was taken at 0530. The temp normally drops a couple of degrees just before sunrise. I'm certainly burning coal now!

10* in millinocket this morning, wife thinks oil is cheap immediately after a delivery. Had to get 50 gal. for the hot water heater but that is in the works for change, put the stove in the basement about 10 ft. from the hw tank. That will help preheat pipes etc. Next season I'll work on coal fired hot water.
