It's an underfed stoker, the auger turns slowly and moves fresh coal upwards in the pot. Air is forced in through the holes in the grates. Once the coal burns the ash accumulates on the ash ring and eventually falls off into the ash pan. :D

OMG, I thought you sat on it when you needed relief form bad Mexican food. Pot sizes should be about your belt size. WOW.

The bigger ones rotate, giving you a 360 degree view of the room!

Where is the magazine rack? Is this what they mean when they talk about having a magazine in my coal stove?

Actually, you need to be careful sitting on the big ones, because some of them have assh removal systems.

Sadly, mine are not that big these days (they never were), I would be fine. I guess other posters can tell we have the Xmas spirit. For those of you that were offended and wanted me to use the word holiday, tough chit.

Had to crank the DS up this weekend. It was idling at 350* all weekend and the house was hovering between 68*-70*. I said forget this, bumped it to 460* now the house is a comfy 76*. Take that mother nature.

It is a brisk start to 2013. 10 degrees, clear, and windy. Boiler is running a lot, but still keeping up. I keep looking for a reason to bump up the feed rate and really let it rip...but it is still shouldering the load.
