It's an option for around $75.00. We usually cook on the deck grille year round. But when it's 15° out, this is the cats meow! I usually grill on it just before it needs the evening shake down. So it's good clean grilling. No ash or sulfur smell, just good clean 400°-450° heat. It took a while to find out where the hot spots are, but now I'm using it several times a week. It's just big enough for four hotdogs, or two pork-chops, or one good size steak! I've had all of the above and many hot-dogs. I might have to double up on my Crestor pills!I'm On Fire wrote:Your stove has a grill? That's awesome.

Ha,ha cool Charlie! Hope you were eating those dogs while the Pats were saying see ya to the Tebow miracle phenom! Now you can see why my Glenwood in the kitchen is so handy! When it's cranking in these temps, I cook on exclusively. Why waste the electric?

When I was in high school, my parents had a Magee Oxford cook stove. It was wood fired. More of a novelty at first, and spplemental heat. Next thing you know my mother was doing almost all of her cooking on it. Back when all our meals were cooked at home. People around her then didn't burn any coal. I remember my father had to go to an old stove shop up in Washington,ME to find wood grates for it. I guess that generation would have felt like they were going backwards if they burned coal.SteveZee wrote:Ha,ha cool Charlie! That's too cool. I think I an old gridle laying around, that would fit just right on top my stove.
