There was a documentary I watched on PBS about the dwindling population of Bees. They had a segment on this place in China where decades ago some specific pollution killed off the entire population of bees in the region and it was some prime place with some very old apple orchards or something like that. They hand pollinated each bloom on the trees. :shock: They had a jar of pollen and something like a feather duster to sprinkle it on each flower.
