Glad when the holidays are over

Glad when the holidays are over

Not to sound like scrooge, but I hope things are better in the new year. Their have been 5 attempted and some sucessfull robberies, break' ins within a 1/4 mile of my house, and a MURDER on monday. What the heck is it about the christmas holiday that people forget what it's all about just to satisfy their own needs ??? I was away on vacation last week in florida and a cruise to the bahamas, and I was happy to come home, everything A OK, but I did stop with my insurance agent to add to my policy before I left. I am thinking of a security, and survalance system, and a big dog wouldn't be a bad idea. The one robbery was done by 2 (professionals ???) they told the elderly retired pastor they were working for the borough, they wanted to check his water, one was with him in the basement banging on the pipes, the other up stairs took money and a gold pocket watch that was his fathers. YOU NEVER KNOW AND I ALWAYS HAVE MY GUARD UP !!!

That sure is different, wouldn't drop any lincoln logs in the yard, sound's like the flight of the bumble bee. Knowing my luck, it would have a dead battery when I needed it the most  What a laugh when it hit the ice

We have had some horrible murders on the cape...
Some wacky unsolved ones in town and close to where I live...

I wouldn't say only, but 2 to many. I lived here my whole life, I am in the township just outside town by a stone throw. My mother resides in town from birth, my father as a teenager, and both sides of my grandparents lived here most of their lives, and my great grandparents too. It's a small town were neighbor know's their neighbor. It was a great town to grow up in, but things are not as they were 20 + years ago. It feels live the city of Reading is moving north.

Buy a gun & become proficient in it's use. Get as much ammo as you can afford. This isn't going to get any better. The next few years are going to be interesting ....

One of my old neighbors told me today that a couple weeks ago another neibor was walking at night a few weeks ago, saw a car driving with the lights off, could see only break lights, in an alley while another walked along checking garage doors. When he chased on foot, they took off without headlights till they were a block away. Sounds a little suspicious to me

You can borrow my 200 lb Mastiff if you need him. Just feed him eight to ten cups a day and he will defend you to the death!
