Where do they come from?
Are they alive?
Do they have consciousness?
What do they want?
Are they out to get us? Take our women? Overthrow civilization?

These are questions we've all asked ourselves during an unscheduled morning cleanout.

Unfortunately, the shocking answer is...yes.

Consider this:

1) They usually attack in the morning, in stoves all across Amerika, jamming our grates when we're half asleep, when the home is coldest, and when we need heat the most - in short, we are vulnerable. Coincidence? Or, coordinated?

2) Clinkers must be telepathic. When trying to clear a clinker without losing your fire, where are they? Are they the first place you poke? No, they're always in the last. Is their goal to get you to simply get you dump the fire? Or, are they wearing down your will, week after week, weakening your resolve to resist some greater, more nefarious scheme yet to come?

3) Clinkers often use their larger less intelligent minions 'the rocks' to block attempts at dislodgement. For those with eyes to see the conclusions are obvious; they are organized, have a chain of command, and are the puppet masters of a diabolical plan that has yet to unfold.

4) Clinkers are masters of camouflage, in sleeper cells, masquerading innocently in bins, bags, and hods across this land as harmless lumps of coal...waiting. Waiting for what, I ask you?

5) The year 2012 is upon us, need I say more?

I could go on people, but perhaps I've said too much already.

One thing is for sure, we are 'through the looking glass here', watch your back - your friends, your family, your country are depending on you.

Happy New Year!

:)

My mind wanders a little when the wife is out of town and I'm on my third breakfast beer.

...and battling clinkers.

:)
