Found my Fields Type M Baro stuck wide open

I've noticed a nice side benefit to my simple "anti-sticking open" device. My baro now only opens only about half as far as it is capable of opening, and as a result my overall draft is far more consistent now then it was when the baro could swing wildly from full open to full closed. Now when it opens at 0.05" and goes to its full possible extent (as limited by my stop) the resultant draft under most wind conditions holds right at my desired 0.04", whereas before, when it could swing 100% open to the juncture where it would occasionally stick, it would often go wide open at 0.05" and drop the draft down to 0.02" or so before it could close back up again. This caused undesirable draft swings that have now been greatly mellowed and tamed.

As to the primary intended benefit of preventing the baro from sticking wide open, it is performing that task flawlessly. No sticking at all.
