Yah, I found that it was coming from the glass when i get down in front of the stove the noise is coming from the right window. I put my gloves on and just barely put my hand over the opening to the bottom of the right glass window and the noise goes away. When I take my hand away the noise returns. i took a short video last night with my phone of the noise. I'm not quite sure how to attach it tho.
You might be onto something. Under cold windy conditions when my chimney is pulling extra hard, I've heard a whistle when I have the internal damper open. I fought with the gaskets on the doors and couldn't find a problem with them anywhere. I just gave up and lived with it when it happens since I see no ill effects of the whistle. I've used a Dwyer 460 air velocity meter to measure the flow around the window base and could see flow there. Also use it to check the chinking in the stove's joints and not found any leaking. I never thought of using it to sniff out a leaking door gasket but will next time.
