Thanks Berlin I may just do that if I can find the pipe but the only place that had will not be getting any more said its out of season LOL we Feb and March before this out of season

Does anyone use stoker coal in hot blast how does it do any secrets to it

you won't get good performance out of smaller sized coal. The best coal you can get is a good KY lump; longer burntimes and more controlable heat. Either the appliance is undersized (the hot blast just isn't a great coalburner to begin with) or you have crappy coal. look for a good KY lump at a local mine or coalyard; there should be plenty of good stuff available in your area.

So far so good I got 14 HR on 6gal coal and good heat the coal does seem to bridge and have to be broke apart after 5 hrs and it take off again it keeping heat in house around 75 to 80 in 30s outside coal is hard to get no one sales it here that I can find if I can make it though the winter ill find some over summer

Well the test and passed with temp outside teens with wind chill of 5 and 5 below inside 70s . That is good. Have to add 4 times in 24 HR.
