G' day. I just put a side by side 'fridge on Craigs list for sale but had a thought.... if someone on the Forum could use it, speak fast & it's yours for the taking. I put this in the Maine forum, but outsides are welcome, I just didn't think you'd want to spend $200 on gas....whatever! Call & we'll talk. Everything works fine, but Santa brought us a new fancy shmancy Stainless steel one so this one has to go.

Lay it on its back, take out the shelves and fill it with coal. or plug it in and fill it with beer.

I usually make it point to "upgrade" my second fridge whenever a new, better one comes available but I think I'll pass this time. Just like with "free" wood this one would cost me too much to pick up. Thanks anyway, Lisa

Hmmmmm, Fred.
That's tempting.
I'll have to talk to the wife about it. I was thinking of making a run to Searsport for a woodstove if the guy's still got it, and you would be on the way.
It's a KitchenAid, right?
Currently running a KitchenAid very similar, but older, that I got off a guy in Litchfield who scavenges them and it works great, but, you know how it is, I'm beginning to get nervous about when it's "expiration date" is going to arrive.
Have you got the dimensions?
Thanks,
- Eric

If it's transported in other than a upright position don't plug it in for at least 24 hours after you have it in a stationary upright position. Why? The refrigerant oil in the compressor need to make it's way back to the compressor.

I've always thought that 90% of people that own pick up trucks should own a van instead. The only people that need a pick up are those that move refrigerators and those in construction.

I just want to thank Freddy for letting me know as soon as he knew that the fridge had already sold - I know it was the decent thing to do, but we all deal with plenty of people who don't even know what being decent is anymore.
Freddy, I'll answer your PM question here, and give free advertising to a guy who sold me a good product about five years ago -
The guy in Litchfield, Maine with the used refrigerators is Jim. He's at 490 Richmond Road (just a few miles off the Turnpike exit), and his number is seven four oh 36o five.
He sold me a used KitchenAid almost just like the one pictured for about $120, and it's worked great for years (knock wood, and the good Lord willing).
Stay warm up there!
