I've often been amazed at the skill some truckers develop in handling their truck after driving all day everyday.

It takes awhile, but mostly is just dealing with other people on the road, I think nowadays turn signals must be an option you have to pay extra for, makes it tough when you have 40 tons rollin and sombody pulls crap...

Ya gotta love it when someone pulls out in front of you then stops trying to make a left turn with no signal waiting to turn and your rollin at 55-60, the mentality of "I have to beat the big truck" will quite possibly get you to your grave a little quicker

I have 38 yrs driving trucks and still don't know why a 2000# car would want to screw with a 80,000# truck. Death wish maybe?

I have heard it before...that they should make new drivers (class c) ride in a commercial vehicle to understand what has to be done to get one whoed and make it so it would be mandatory before the recieved a license. I would have to agree, what really sucks is that they look at you like you are the one that caused it because you are considered a professional driver and you should have control of it at all times. It always comes back on us, for others stupidity. The first thing they do to any CDL holder is drug test them after an accident no matter how small, I also think that should apply to a class c holder as well. Any thoughts?
