Not to worry, a call to Axeman and they will send you one free of charge. You don't even have to own one. :)

then why the heck would they care if its posted on the internet.

It only benefits them if all the possible information on their products are available. That certainly doesn't hurt them.

It would be like nike coming out with a new shoe, and not letting anyone take pictures for advertising purposes. they would say if you want to see this shoe you need to contact us and we will send u a picture of it. yea that makes sense

That info was copyrighted more than half a century ago, long before the internet. Back when coal appliances were BIG business. ;)

To be clear AA hasn't said it can or cannot be posted here but since I have not had any conversations with them regarding it I can't allow them.

If you have a coal product manual that you would like posted here get permission from the copyright owner. Richard will gladly post it on the forum. Just get permission in writing, a letter or an e-mail. Something like ...

I copyright owner of (item to be posted) give permission to post (item to be posted) on the NEPA forum.

Signed by,
Copyright owner
Title of signor

Simple, an e-mail from the copyright owner would do it.
