My son had hernia surgery at 3 and boy it really hits home when it is your little ones. He is 27 now and doing well, I am sure your little one will be fine with folks that pay attention around her. Happy New year with the good news.

the doc put somethin on a swap to paralize it so it would be easier to pull out, it took 3 apps of that stuff and he ended up pullin the engourged part off then he had to really pull to get the head out I felt bad watchin it happin, she didnt cry realy, just said owowwowow, he was pullin her skin up a good inch that thing had some hooks

I got what looks like a melon ball spoon with a V shaped notch in it, you got to press down real hard to get the head in that notch & then pry back on it, even after numbing the skin the dogs give a big yelp.

Yeah those deer ticks latch on like a damn magnet. Every one of mine I had to just about tear out. The big, normal ticks I always got bit by as a kid came out MUCH easier.

thank you, glad that your son was ok after that Im the same age Ill be 28 Feb 2nd and my daughter will be 3 on he 11th of feb, sam I never seen one of those things, granted this was my first experiance with tics, unfourtunatly it had to be my daughter gettin bit, cause we would take the tractor and trailer into the woods too cut up wood for the stove, and she helps Ill post a pic w her and my home made splitter helpin me lol

Lol, sam, me n her is all hat there is her mother would rather drink herself stupid than take care of her, so its called steppin up and bein a real man and the best dad I can be, the courts also agreed so me and her are a team lol

lol I built a splitter, I live at one of my bosses gravel pits and can cut wood for free, so I burn wood till it gets cold then get my BIT burnin, ya know for the mild season I like to do the wood thing, because I dont need a constant fire, ya know how that goes its 70 in the day time then drops to the 30s so I would just burn wood at nite n leave it go out in the morning and for starting my fires if they go out, havent had it go out for a month so I still have a cord of wood left roughly, just costs me gas for the saws tractor and splitter

Thats what friends & family are all about, I went through much of the same only mine were 9&10 at the time, had some good friends that would get them off the bus after school & keep them till I got home. Never asked, they just showed up & said this is how we're gonna do it, other members of the wife's family helped out as well, closest family I had was in Conn. so it was mostly hands on help that I needed. Your doing right keeping pictures & all before you know it she'll be grown up.

at this point that scares me knowin she will grow up, hell its hitting me realizing in 2 years I will be 30 its just hard to imagine but it happens and we all get pictures as much as we can while we can, you can just see from birth till now how much she has grown in the pictures, and if she goes to grandparents for the weekend I notice she must grow in 2 days lol
