My blowers run 24/7 the entire heating season. 4-5 months. I shut down about every 6 weeks and clean blowers with an old toothbrush. You need to get all the dust off the fan blades and from around unit, this will trap heat and dust will get inside the bearings and shorten life. I have never oiled as it appears atleast on alaska stoves that the bearings are sealed. been running for 10 years like this.

The motor should have a duty rating. If rated cont (continuous) it doesn't get any better.

I too ran a similar blower 24/7 6 months a year for at least 20 years before I replaced it with a Panasonic unit. I was moving room air from the basement into the upper floors with a "Redneck" setup I did with limited resources at the time  . I now can afford UL listed setups. :)

In case anyone is still wondering... We just had to replace this blower unit from a remote radio transmitter site. We figured it's been running non-stop for about 18 or so years, with the occasional power outage and cleaning downtime a couple times a year.

Any way you measure it, that is EXCELLENT service life. Nothing lasts forever, and those are a wear item. I hate to say it, but don't we all wonder if the 'New Motor/controls/Circ pumps' will last that long? I will always be partial to products engineered and manufactured right here in the USA....or our good neighbor across the border (to the north that is) I know that Taco Gold zone valves don't last like they used to....just for starters.... :!:
