Newbies AHS 130 running- so far, so good

updates:
Last week we installed the manometer, it read between .01 and .03 most of the time with barely a jump to .05 if it's really gusty winds outside, so I guess that's good from what I've read on here.

We lowered the ash temp from 130 to 120 and now it's using less coal and burning up the coal better. Much finer ash.
Before, it used to cycle the grate at each call for heat, now it's much less.

We found a great use for the ashes, spreading them on the soft low spots in the driveway, it packs in great, better than buying gravel!

Just a quick note to say we are loving our new coalgun! 8 weeks now and we couldn't be happier. We've had quite a mild winter, so the temps have varied from 10 degrees to 60 degrees over the last 2 months and our hot water, house and garage have maintened a perfectly consistent temperature. I can tell my husband is happy with it as he is no longer spending all his free time watching it cycle and even waits a couple days to fill it and empty the ashes now.

We have had fun through the whole process, researching, shopping, planning, installing and now enjoying the warmth. Many thanks to Ben and the guys at AHS for their great advice, tips and always returning our call whenever we had a question during the installation.
