broken grate

Well i must have went and got a little carried away and went and broke my one grate in the Hitzer 82 FU.
Can some one tell me were might be the closest and fastest parts dealer for this furnace.I live close to
Watertown South Dakota.
I got one ton of hard coal too see how it might compare to the sub-bit pea stoker pee coal.
May be the nut coal will shake down easier than the stove coal.

You might be able to weld it until the parts arrive. Go easy there Killer, Mr Murphy says you will lose every single time. Try to "outsmart it, not beat it to fit." I am not familiar with their dealer network, but they are one of the best manufactures of solid fuel heating devices. Now that you have broken it, perhaps a refreshing beverage is in your future.....maybe not an 'adult beverage' tonight.

Did you misspell 'Broken' to see if us old guys would catch you on it? You can go back and edit your post if you want, but most will never notice anyway.

Nice friendly people...

Got my grate on tuesday but was able to keep the fire going with the pea stoker coal.
With the hard coal mixed in it and the ash build up and only able to shake the one side the hard coal seemed to fuse to the soft coal and i fished that all out over time.
Took all of 2 minutes to replace the grate after the stove cooled down a little.
Nice to know that it is possible to keep burning with just one grate with the stoker coal.
Wouldnt want to do it for very long but was nice to not here the %^&*( propane furnace turn on.
Wood love to try some good Kentucky bit some time as the subbit pea that i can get will not store for over a year so a truck load would go to waste at least 1/2 of it.
