Mastif. yes nut should do the job.
I send some photos just to compare with my Bride (the stove  ). Looks having some common parts. The center grate on yours is called a dumping/duplex grate while on mine the center ones are the triangular ones. The outer grate looks the same it's called Ransom Ring Grate. These grates work very well. Once used to them, you will love them.

Thanks Mastiffdude.
I don't know when I told to Bryant Stove I buy, I asked to them to have the stove tear apart and have it reseal...but they didn't sand blast it then. Before that I'm not shure of it.
On the previous pages you can see all the dis-assembly ans re-assembly of the stove if you want to. On page 3 at: I have my base burner.

Josh,
That's the new compact size. Did he say what he did with the rest of the stove, throw away or rebuild another one

Dennis, the owner of the salvage building said a man brought only the parts to him as a partial trade on something years ago. Too bad .

Finally I made some with the Ultra Black. Makes nice black seals. Rated for 500*F but the Bride runs at low temp. I will contact Permatex to ask if the Ultra black can go higher than 500*.

Pierre the permatex #82180 "ultra black" works ok as you know but it turns grey under high heat although it has held to 700F on my stove pipe. What you need is here. I am going to buy some of this next.

The only thing permatex has is the copper sensor safe high temp gasket maker which is 700F intermittent.

This is a very rare stove made by a small regional company. It is missing some of its upper trim but that will not detract from its performance. It will be an excellent, efficient stove for you. I guess you have figured out by now that it is a full fledged base burner.
The stove needs to be totally disassembled and put back together with new bolts and cement. Take your time with it. After you have it all apart you will be up to your behind in parts. Make sure you take the time to make notes as to where everything goes as you take it apart. This is a high quality stove and it has all the bells and whistles that a good base burner has.
Please inform us as the project goes forward. Remember, no shortcuts. Shortcuts will lead to regret later.

Don't get upset, it won't hurt the stove, but; there is a cowling that fits between the upper main body and the nickle top piece. It covers up the round part under the top where the magazine goes through. It would be the nickle reflector. Some of them were very large and some were small.
