Lots o' missed opportunities by the Pats. Lots of F-up's too.

Oh well. Now we can get back to the real news. What Romney & Gingrich are doing. Never mind the Strait of Hormuz, the pending collapse of the Euro, nor the international crisis forming in Egypt right now ....

Go back to sleep. Nothing to see here!

Congrats Giants! They played well. Other than one good drive the Pats struggled the whole game.

On to the important football questions, looks like Madonna was lip syncing?

Not sure what is worse, lip syncing or having an incident like the Who sounding like they should be lip syncing.

It looked like the black guy was lip syncing too. Truthfully I don't see how you she couldn't be with all the physical exertion especially at her age. I guess she's in good shape but that's a lot of running around for a few minutes.

i always wondered if there is a sound delay or something that makes it look like they're lip-synching. All of these half time shows look like it to me at one point or another during the show.

I think since Janet Jackson showed her BOOB, they did put a delay on them. Who knows if that would have anything to do with anything??? :?

There's delay on most live broadcasts even before the Janet Jackson Fiasco, I believe in that case someone was asleep at the switch. At least that is what they claimed, they lengthened it because of that. You might even see over the air and cable out of sync. That's different though because it wouldn't cause audio sync issues.

Having said that audio sync issues could be it, even your own equipment can cause that.

The energy she spent reminded me of the one time I saw the Rolling Stones live in concert near Boston in the mid 1980's. Mick Jagger spent energy like that and he did it non stop for 2 hours and 45 minutes. Other than two, thirty second elevator rides to take him up and back down in the staging, he never left the stage. Every other singer and musician came & left, but Jagger was present and pounding it out the entire concert.

I thought she did a good job. It took her back to the basics of why she's a millionaire.

I'm sure glad we (The Patriots) are playing the Giants and not the 49r's. Anyone that watched the Gaints /49rs game knows the Giants didn't win, they just happened to have a higher score at the end of the game. The 49r's kicked ass, but between 49r's bad luck and a mistake or two, the Giants came out on top. I think the Patriots have a much better chance at winning against the Giants than if they had to play San Fransisco. Plus, it will be good vindication if the Pats win this time.

And..... even the Pat's winning was a bit of luck! Who da hell misses a field goal when the ball is snapped from the 22 yard line? LOL I said "That guy just kicked his last professional field goal".

I realize this is a dated post but just had to add that the Patriots didn't "win" their playoff game either. The Ravens gave it to them.

I agree with coalkirk. ....and the 49ers gave away their game too. That is why we call it the "Stupid Bowl". Toooooooo hyped, to expensive, BUT GREAT commercials.

The Patriots loss gave me a chance to have some fun this week. On Wednesday while in and around Boston I asked everyone if they were at the parade yesterday. I got some funny reactions. I didn’t find anyone who went; I told them they could have taken the Megabus down to New York for about 25 bucks but they didn’t care.

I thought the Fung Wah busses were known more for spontaneous combustion. A few years ago one caught fire in Connecticut and everyone got out and ran around the bus and then right back into it.
