The short draft pipe on my Pioneer rattles all the time. It is especially loud when the stove is stoking when I turn the thermo up. The draft door is suspended on each side in the pipe by a small steel wire. The wire sets in small holes and allows the door to swing and move. But it constantly rattles. If I put my hand on the pipe the sound goes away. Is there any way to stop this rattle? It is annoying and is loud it is hard to hear the tv.
Thanks,
Diana

I put a pipe clamp on mine, it stop the noise
It's a Band clamp like what you would use on a furnco

Hardware store. Or drill a small hole in/around where the seams are, and put a metal screw in.
