You will enjoy the Harman. They are a nice stove. Good luck with the new stove.

I really do like the Harman a lot better. This stove is way easier to use and for whatever reason it seems to burn way less coal. It has a blower that really spreads the heat around. The grate system is by far easier to use than the warm morning one was and it grinds the spent coal down to fine ash. I used to get a ton of chunks melted together but not any more.
Then lets not forget that the Harman is an airtight stove as opposed to the warm morning not. The manual specifically says not to use an MPD, one less thing to do.

If money is an issue and you want someone to actually talk to you if you have an issue (other than this board) how about a Torridaire T18 stove from knoxstove.com. The only reason I mention this is that in my first fumbling attempts to burn coal I bought WM 400 and a Torridaire stove from Cornwall coal. After more research I settled on a keystoker (great stove) from Cornwall as well. I sold them both to a Lancaster farmer in one post. The Torridaire was brand new and the WM was great as well. I gave him a 30 day money back warranty and he did call me back to say thank you and as a long term WM user he was trying the Torridaire and loved it. I don't know if they are still in business, call Steve at Cornwall. Much cheaper.
