Apparently these guys are among the largest in the anthracite business. How well do you like their coal, and how does it compare to Blaschak, Harmony, Jeddo and the others that are often discussed here as being among the best burning coals?

I bought a TT load of nut coal from LC&N in 2009, it was the best coal I have ever burned. The coal itself was very hard, and it burned to a powder. Everyone that bought from me was very impressed as well.

If you do some research on the forum you will see that not everyone had the same experience as me. "Coal Berner" was not impressed with a load he got from them, so it seems there was some variability in the product at that time.

The Lehigh Coal & Navigation Company is the oldest in the business...hence the name "The Old Company" or "Old Company's Lehigh". They were a huge presence in the Panther Valley at one time with thousands of employees and multiple breakers.
