Interesting, I never heard of the Enigma machine.

Actually it's a money printing machine, just set the amount you need, and pull the lever, then it spits out the dough!

It's really a device to imprint the dollar amount on a check. It also embosses the check so the amount can't be altered. They were common in business and banks up until the "computer age" and the modern security measures incorporated into checks. The bank I use has one in a storage area as a "back up" if the modern systems fail. Since I hand write the checks for my business I use it to imprint the amount, I like the way it looks.

Well, here I was thinking how strange you are since you collect street lamps, but then I realized that I as well have 1. Actually it's an old outdoor floodlamp similar to one in your pictures.

I also had a double parking meter, I gave it to someone years ago.

I, uh, have a license plate collection also.

I think the lightening rod collection is awesome. I noticed the baby carriage/stroller/perambulator/holder object as well. We have one or more of those.

I have most of the info from a company that manufactures lightening rods and the related hardware. At some point I intend to install them on this house, with the cables, ground rods, etc.

Being into cars, thought the License plates were pretty cool, I had found a few in our old house (guy restored old cars) and it led into finding all different states, countries, etc...Have quite a few road signs, a stop light, had an old gas pump (50's), but got rid of it.

Thanks on the items.! the baby carriage, another garage sale find...kinda cool.
Keeps us busy when out looking at stuff.
