Why waste the bullets. I would have returned the software, and sold the laptop.
Turned off her internet, moved her brother into her room, she could have the smallest corner in the house.
Wouldnt have bothered to respond, shed be wondering.

I've been holding my comments for a few day's, I now think i can let some out. 20 years ago i wuold have done the same! Now that i'am older i think i would have handled the situation differently,,,, but no matter how i would have handled it she would be in for severe punishment! Kid's now days are way out of hand, they want their own cell phones, computers , car, etc. ( i could go on and on ) Where do they get all this stuff from? Parents are part of the blame, why should a 12 year old have his or her own computer? I would have a family computer some place in the house and we would all have to share it! Some of the stuff she posted on facebook that the father read off, if i would have ever wrote that about my dad or mom and they found out ( First thing is i would have never wrote anything like that about my parents ) i sure would not be living at home, they would have shipped me out to some reform school ! This probably sounds crazy to many people but i'am sorry, thats the way it was where i grew up, you had respect for your parents, no matter what. And you know what, I loved them for the way they raised me up. You got what you deserved and put into it back then! Kids now days believe it's there right to have their own cell phone ( bought and paid for by the parents ) when they are 10 year's old, their own car ( again bought by parents ) when they are 16, i could go on and on, best to shut my big mouth up now,,,,, :x Dont get me wrong, there are alot of good kid's out there,,but some of the other's ruin it for the good kid's. I know that alot of people felt the father went overboard with what he did, but there is also something called Tough Love.

Whoooaaa?!!! I think this guy may be a dick but he has a point. Parental respect is lacking these days, now I believe its earned to a point but if his rant is true that daughter should have a boot in the ass. But who let the daughter get to that point. Anyway I hope to see more parents punish their kids when needed. I work with too many spoiled brat rich kids who were fed off the silver spool who never did anything wrong or had a piss poor idea.

Sure he has a point but his response is no better than his daughters. His daughter is probably reflecting his own behavior.

I don't see anything wrong here. The daughter obviously has no clue about life (no surprise - just look at society today & you'll see where she got that from) & disrespected her parents who are trying to instill some work ethics in her. Using the .45 got the point across, and got the word out to the world (over a million Youtube views). That was dad's intention. His daughter thought it was fine to post her own parents in a negative light for all the world to see, so dad "one-upped" her by making this video.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with this at all. He got his point across, so maybe next time she'll count her blessings rather than whine to the world like a spoiled brat. It takes stuff this dramatic to get the point thru the thick skulls of today's youth.

Nothing good can come from showing your dirty laundry on the internet for the world to see. That would be true for dad and his daughter.

he right about kids today..

many different friends of mine all have similar issues with thier kids..

the trickle down effect from liberal lawyers...... no prayer in schools, no in God we trust..

no back hand across the face for talking back..... look where it got us

worse yet..... look where its gonna take us..... ;)

personally a 16 or 20 ga shot gun would have been more impressive :P

I think its one of those videos that was staged for his own $$$ gain. I used to smoke and no way would I just let it burn and never take a puff. Why did he even have it in his hand? He's trying to look cool throwing the cig and wrinkling up the paper and throwing it. And firing the gun with traffic nearby might be safe, but not recommended. Staged and he probable even had a script, maybe it was the paper he held. I imagine he'll be on the Today show soon.

And if somehow it was all real he was lenient. Just my 2 cents.
