please don't judge me on the install. this is not it's final home. it is just for this year. and yes it was done fast and sloppy, but it works........

the oil boiler is behind it.

Are you sure it's a 475? It appears to be exactly the same as mine, which I thought was a 350. It would not be the first time I was wrong, though.

the i.d. tag on the door says its a 475. if someone that knows about these boilers can look at it and tell me its a 350 or a 475 be my guest. i would like to know witch one it is. its the only tag on sizing, but the door is removable. anything is possible.

update..........

installed the draft inducer. wow what a difference that made. i have it set up for a .05 draft. if it goes over the baro will take over. i have gone ahead and set it up on a dimmer switch to reduce the speed if need be.

reduced the timer setting to 30 every 15 from 45 every 10. seems to be doing fine????? i will see in the morning if it makes the difference. it seems that the earlier 4 hour time was not long enough to ascertain whither the fire was stable.

Your install looks fine to me. My only comment is you aren't supposed to mount a circulator with the motor in the vertical position unless the system pressure is at least 20 psi.

I have the same unit. If you want a copy of the owners manual I can send it to you. Been using mine for 4 years now and like to think I have it dialed in. I haven't shut mine off since Sep 2011

the boiler is at 20 psi. when i asked my heating buddy who helped me do the plumbing, he said it didn't matter.

Brick head please send me a copy of the manual... I have what I think is a 600 but it looks just like yours 475.. I need to know the electrical part of installing mine.. It has two thermostats and two circulating pumps.
