Steve i can see your point .I do find it hard to believe that 30 windows would be done individually.

I finally got the top dome put on the 'Garland'.

It didn't get much better, even with lots more time and work done on it at the platers.. the casting was just too porous and pitted.
So the dome has plenty of 'acne scars' under the plating..

But I wasn't going to spend hundreds more to try to get rid of the pitting. The only option would be to have the top recast out of bronze or brass.
Modern sand casting would be the same porous iron.

She looks pretty good..
