Important, please read about new Anti Spam Measures

I'm going to be implementing some new anti spam tools which will also add some security features. From looking over the code it's pretty aggressive but from the reviews and my research it should be seamless to everyone here. I'm going to be adding this early Wednesday morning. I'll be monitoring what it is doing but I may miss something, if in the unlikely event you happen to get blocked from this site you can still contact me from here so you might want to bookmark it becsue when I say blocked I mean you won't be able to load pages at all:

Everything should be fine but I can't possibly test for every circumstance.If you do get blocked please let me know ASAP and let me know exactly what the error is if one is displayed.

Yeah been lots of spam posts lately written in jibberish. Strange. I got an email with similar language saying they had 2 mil waiting for me in Kenya.

Good Morning! Just got up. I didn't install what I had originally discussed so you can forget about the issues I mentioned above. I did however install something else around 1 AM and monitored it until early this morning. It appears it is working great. I don't see a single registration from Spammer in that time and typically there would have been at least 10 at the pace they were going before the modification.

There is still a lot registered previously so over the next few days those posts might still appear but they should slowly dwindle to nothing.

A lot of people (myself included) get a lot of useful information from this site. Anything you can do to screen out the spammers is greatly appriciated.

Seems I can declare the spammers dead for now, haven't seen a single spammer registration since Wed. 1AM.

As an added bonus this is so effective I have been able to remove the captcha which is that text you have to type in. I think I may even revert to allowing immediate activation of accounts without having to use the email activation.
