Crazy Weather
What a night for weather here in the Elmira area. They were calling for some mixed precip. At about 9:30pm it was raining very hard, then came a little bit of thunder. It has progressed into some pretty heavy thunderstorms since. We have had weather statements from NWS for strong thunderstorms. Last 2 hours have been solid thunder and lightning with pea size hail. Also had a neighboring Fire Dept. get called out for a person struck by lightning. Last I heard on the radio, the patient was conscious and breathing. Hope all turns out OK. Now their calling for 2.1" of snow. Been a weather roller coaster tonight.
