Update on L6006A temp trip issue.
I removed the L6006A from the left port of the WL110 today and immersed the bulb in a pot of boiling water to get a feel for the trip point of the aqustat. After 5 minutes the trip point settled around 155F on the dial. After 15 minutes the trip point was still at 155F.
I made up a copper well for the Dwyer Love TS2-10 Dig temp switch probe (TS-1 Probe, PTC sensor ). The ID of the well was a little sloppy to the fit , I immersed it in a pot of boiling water and after 5 minutes or so the temp on the TS2-10 stopped rising at 211 Deg F. I think it’s a bit closer to a true measured reading than my L6006A. I have attached some pics of the well and boiling pot test.
I got the well measured up, soldered up and installed in the left port of the WL110 without losing the coal bed.
I took a pic of the TS2-10 turned upside down to do a side by side of the L7224 dig reading vs the TS2-10. The TS2-10 is a bit closer in reading to the L7224 and I will go with the TS2-10 dump zone/shut down control for now...............Dickhttp://www.dwyer-inst.com/Product/Tempe ... 2/Ordering
