Your burn looks great. I've always leaned toward a feed setting that leaves me at least a good inch or inch and a half of ash at the end of the grate. If you keep an eye on it regularly you'll see that vary; probably from variations in coal because the feed system and timers are basically so consistent.
I have 8 tons of rice from my July delivery so it should be hands off for a while. I noticed the feed screw drifts around wandering if you or anyone else runs a locking nut on the threaded adjuster?
I don't have any DHW storage tank, so my LL temp might be a little higher. I'm running right off the hot water coil and my LL is usually 170. I have to run a bathtup for the little one and that's a huge hot water demand in a short period of time. Plus, the wife likes really hot showers.
I hope to save a little bit on the PECO bill with WL110 DHW generation. Having 50 gal ready to go with 4 adults helps on morning showers.
Curious to see where that L6006A trips at keep us posted!
Me too, going to pull that out on Sunday and bring up to the kitchen range. If the L6006A is out in left field I may just try to solder up a deeper well for the Dwyer Love TS2-10 which is DOBA and slap that in the left 1.25" port.
