Holy Cats,As I Live And Still Breathe !

My Twp. of Hambden is part of the Chardon City School District....My Wife works in the High School,Our youngest daughter is a Senior there. Monday it all went to hell. The rest of this week has been spent heavy lifting, shoveling, listening, supporting and repressing my own feelings and needs on the subject. My time will come later.....Now our dear friends from the Westboro Supposed Baptist Bar And Grill Attorney Church are coming here to support their own twisted spotlight agenda.......Crap ! I'm glad I have a small mind and big shoulders... I haven't said anything here because I just didn't need the constant political left/right bickering to go off due to my Family's situation in this.....That *censored*'s just tearing this Coal Board up.......We've lost three men...Not boys,Men....I've got one Man in the Hospital hit three times and in partial paralysis(legs)....I've got one Woman who has made it out of the hospital, but is pretty busy thinking about the whole deal....These were all Students that are usually called "Kids"....Nope,Zip,Nada...They're Men and Women. We've closed ranks, taken control, mourning and burying our Dead, and working hard and tight to build a NEW NORMAL. While we show the Love Of Chardon,we are hard as the hill the town's built on. That's why we're called the "HillToppers",sports team-wise.......TOPPER POWER ! Thanx,Guys.....The Funerals have started today, and go into next week.....Bring 'Em....We'll hold those Families in our pathetic, not alot of miracles on board hands...We're only Human....God's got the rest....It's been time to take care of the Living.....Please take a second for them, not me.....I'm a busy little coaler and will be fine....I just can't do enough to stop their pain...but I'm quietly going to try.....Hug your little and big weasels back home at the nest....Life's Fast....Hambden Bob...I'm going to be tied up for a while,so any questions please consult my in need of a shave Press Secretary_FreeTown Fred !....Oh Man !

My thoughts & prayers have been with the Chardon area since day one, I knew it had to be around your neck of the woods & was hoping for the best. All I can add is keep on doing what your doing, it's a great little town from the little time I spent there, good friendly folks. If there is anything at all I can help with then just about any day except this Sat., it ain't much of a drive & I'd be more than happy. God Bless you all & the best of luck to the community, it seems the BB Teams are doing their parts to heal but it's gonna take a while.

Saw on the news where Chardon had a B-ball game last night & won. Tough bunch of kids getting on with getting on. They all remain in my prayers.

Fred, the opposing local team all wore Chardon jerseys & stood with linked arms with the Chardon players before the game started, a very classy show of respect from those young men.

We all keep wondering just how and why these tragic events take place.......and I did read today that one of those young men is the new boyfriend of the shooters old girlfriend.
There is a link to what a troubled mind was thinking, but those young men and women who are innocent victims paid the price, some the ultimate price.
Life will go on but here is another example of innocence lost for another community. Everyone will wonder, and I'll bet the shooter won't give us a satisfactory answer.

Too many times we console each other as another whack job tears apart what is precious to us all.

Bob, you and your family are in my thoughts as well as the community you are so much apart of. Doug
