Ok...Question here guys. The EFM is installed. It was running great, until I made a mistake. I forgot to check the barrel and the auger was exposed. There were still hot coals, I scooped coal down and called my uncle who has the same model furnace. He instructed me to use an adjustable wrench to forward coal into the the machine, and when I saw the coals moving a bit, I should have the coal back in place where it needs to be.
The fire came back to life but things look different. Before this I was getting alot of yellow flame, and the coal on the pot were pretty flat. Now since I did what I did, there seems to be a mound of on the pot, the flames are blue and the flames are not as big. What did I do wrong? Will it correct itself? What do I need to do to correct it?

I may have accidentally readjusted the coal feed. I keep seeing that a good fed for this machine is 4 teeth. It was feeding way more that that. I readjusted it. We'll see what happens

With the power to the stoker turned off, reach between the gearbox and the fan and turn the coupling by hand. Once the drive pawl comes all the way to the top of it's travel and re-engages the gear, count how many times the check pawl (this is the lower pawl that prevents the gear from turning backwards) "clicks". If you have four teeth of feed, the check pawl will click four times...simple enough, right?

4 teeth is a very common setting. If you are burning rice size coal the air setting should be close to 4 as well. 5 teeth and 4.5 air is another popular setting with rice coal, it all depends on your needs.

That Was the problem! The feed was accidentally bumped up to like 9 teeth and the air was almost at 6. One of the guys that installed it came by today and tweaked things for me after I got the fire down.

Thanks guys!
