.....so that is why you are the way you R!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :!: :!: :!: :!:

Probably didn't even scratch the skidder!!!

Wasn't off a bridge into a stream was it? I have pics of that adventure........and the JD 790 that slipped in the ole sippee hole trying to right it. Water was 32.2degrees, air temp was 13. Wind was 37 mph. ....and who shaves their legs around here?
I was only taking pics.....took at 120 ton cranes to get em out......think the operator has had a 'shrinkage issue' for several years now. Cold swim to get out......Hooooooah!

Was that adventure good for 'Fruit of the Loom' next day sales? The bridge I mentioned was only 7 feet wide and the Cat skidder was 9'6". Water was 6 feet deep, but unfortunately the skidder was upside down. The operator had been hauling across it for 2 weeks, and then......He did have an adult beverage when the hospital released him...a good friend many of us know: Mr Jack Daniels! 3 days later, they were back at it. 10 million feet of Oak logs......

That plant where the dozer went missing must be a HUGE powerplant. Risks are part of the game, and I for one was impressed at how well the response functioned, and the detail of the new safety measures taken. Good video for training and to show the size of the gonads the operators! Cool customers in the belly of the beast. Not a nukie sub, but scary just the same. ...and you wonder why I always ask others to says thanks for the privilege of being able to burn coal today......because generations have made this country's Industrial Revolution possible on the backs of the men and women who did this for a living, and still do. Unless your home has candles, probably coal is making your electricity right now.

My baby. My right side is still bigger than my left. After two hours of pulling the blade by the manual clutch you hurt for days. My mountain? A pile left by 200 Arabians for 10 years over river bottom clay. Pony motor was great would start the dozer in any weather. Still wish I had it. Of course, it was a Cat D7 - cable blade.

I don't remember all the details, but when I was a little guy I remember some guys were hauling logs or something like that across the ice on Lake Champlain. They had a front end loader on the ice and it broke through. The driver rode it down to the bottom and had to wait for the cab to fill with water before he could open the door, them he had to swim up to that hike in the ice and get pulled out.

Rob, that is not good for 'manhood shrinkage' either. I'll bet they tied an old shoelace to 'Dad' for several months before 'he' became warm enough for public display. Sometimes they don't make it........
