Seems kind of redundant that they would require a drivers license but not a CC Permit. Most states I know of require a hunters safety training completion before getting a hunting license but some don't require anything to CC.

I,m all for & have my CC License & wish I could legally carry in my back yard & step over the Ohio line, I think a license in any state should be good in every state. That being said, go to any Wal Mart & set on one of those comfy metal benches they have, just sit & watch & imagine a world where all those folks would be able to CC. They can't figure out which end of the shopping cart to push.

Sam our government can solve anything. Just pass a law requiring Walmart to have a shopping cart instructor and when the guns are legal he can point out which end the bullets come out of.

Franco, that's so unlike you, pass even more laws & give a local politicians relative a job as instructor where's it all end. I can see the headlines now "car backfires 16 dead & over 300 wounded" backfiring vehicle untouched.

Samhill,
I,m all for & have my CC License & wish I could legally carry in my back yard & step over the Ohio line, I think a license in any state should be good in every state. That being said, go to any Wal Mart & set on one of those comfy metal benches they have, just sit & watch & imagine a world where all those folks would be able to CC. They can't figure out which end of the shopping cart to push.

That is an unbelievable elitist attidude to display. Who are you to judge the intelligence of people, or the character of people based on how they act at Wally world?
They get robbed as much as anyone and they have the same 2nd Amendment rights as all. I would rather all the idiots be carrying then just the criminals.
And I agree with a REASONABLE course requirement for carrying, but it is working well in the shall carry states, or the news would be crying constanly about the killings with legal handguns. They already only report the negative uses rather then all the uses.
