Just got back from the F.D. after going to a car wreck and could here them loud and clear when I walked out back of the house. Just a very relaxing sound.

Must be sweet! Yesterday was our warmest day at about 60, but that's a first. We still have ice & snow. Peepers are 2 months away.

Robins are in this little cleft all year. It's neat to see them come up the hill on a warm winter day. The Hummingbird migration (scroll down) is what we look forward to on the feathered side of life to tell us Spring is really here :) Looks like they'll be in SC and NC in a week or so.

Iv had a stupid robin try to fly through the living room window every morning about 6:00 am (7:00 now) for the past 5 weeks. The first time he did it I was tending the stove and almost had a heart attack.

If you ever have a really big peeper fly through that window, by all means go ahead & HAVE that heart attack. I know I would. toothy

We have little tiny green peepers here & I haven't heard a peep so far  maybe they are all learning how to ride the backs of robins so they can get around faster  . When they do come out it's kinda nice to be a bit heard of hearing, we get millions of them & that's one of the tones I don't get.

We've seen a few robins so far.... Sometimes it's hard to tell if they are a robin or not... you have to catch one with the zipper part way down on it's fur coat in order to see it's orange belly. ;)

They are getting louder in the pond across the road from me. By mid spring the sound is deafening.
