Thought mine was out this a.m. and planned to let it go until the weather got cool again. To my surprise at around 11:00 this morning the fan kicked on and I had a great fire going. Opened the windowstats and let her rip. It's really too early here in NE pa. to think I'm done with coal so I'll let it simmer for the next few days and see what happens. If it goes out, I'll do some cleanout maintenance and start a new fire if the weather changes. Saved alot of coal this winter,(if that's what you want to call it).

Tuesday evening I raked the stove and opened the ash door. I was going to let the coal burn that was left in the stove. 10 minutes later the fire was rouring away so I loaded her up again. Checked this morning and there is still fire. Will fire up again this evening for my second consecutive 48 hour burn. The days are warm but the nights are still cool so I guess I will keep the fire burning for awhile.
